| In 2008 the Great Northern Railway depot in Skykomish (marked with the blue star) was moved east to allow oil contaminated soil to be excavated and removed. On November 4, 2011 the depot was moved west on Railroad Avenue and across the tracks near the original 1898 depot location. The depot will serve as the visitor center for the proposed Skykomish Town Center. | ||
